AMD to show Fusion APU at IFA in September

AMD revealed details on the new Bulldozer and Bobcat microarchitectures earlier this week. New rumors says that AMD is planning to show the Fusion APU, most likely Ontario, at IFA 2010 in Berlin, Germany.

Fusion APU is what AMD calls an application processor with x86 processor cores and integrated graphics portion on the same silicon. Ontario is AMD's first Fusion APU and based on the energy efficient Bobcat processor architecture and a DirectX 11 GPU.

According to Fudzilla AMD will show the Fusion APU at IFA and in this way show that a launch in 2010 is more than believable. This should mean demonstrations of notebooks sporting Fusion, products that are expected to see the dawn of day in Q1 2011.
