Zalman has developed a new technology for optimizing the cooling of regular computer fans. The ZM-SF3 case fans has "shark fins" on the blades for maximzied airflow and minimal turbulence.
Beside the characteristic shark fins, Zalman has equipped with the ZM-SF3 fans with ELQ magnetic layers (Ever Lasting Quiet) for minimal friction and lifespans up to 150,000 hours.
Together with silicone details on the fan frame and silicone plugs Zalman claims that the new fans are really quiet and can be adjust itself between 900 - 1 500 RPM (18-23 dBA).
