Quake 4 is built upon the Doom 3 engine and has always favored NVIDIA graphics cards. GeForce 7950GX2 displays the best performance but as we can see with the results from the 7900GTX and X1900XTX, ATI has made some significant improvement with the last couple of versions of Catalyst. At 1920x1200 7900GTX is left far behind.
