120x90It has been a long wait. A year has passed since the first liquid metal cooler from Danamics, the first from any company really. LM-10 was a breakthrough in many ways, but foremost it was the first commercially available cooler using liquid metal. There have been several attempts in the past, but none actually reached the market. It's been used out in the industry for many years, but the cost and size of the equipment have limited retail options

Danamics LMX - Second Generation Liquid Metal Cooler

LM-10 both impressed and disappointed us. It's ability to keep cool without fans with moderately powerful hardware was impressive. The design and high price of it was not. Today we are going to look at the successor, the LMX. We have been keeping in touch with Danamics since the launch of the LM-10 and when they confirmed that there was going to be a new and better cooler coming we of course wanted to be a part of it.

intro

Danamics told us it had listened to the feedback from us and buyers to make sure that it doesn't repeat any mistakes from the first products. At a first glance it looks like we have little reason to doubt them. The design and packaging has been complete reworked, it's now a LOT cleaner and better looking (325 times better if you ask Jonas).

First a short recap since last time.
