Wistar PMP-710 ("http//www.wistarmedia.com/english/Product/EN/product_detail.asp?productid=35") is a portable mediaplayer that not only strives for being as portable as possible but also to bring an experience above the rest. The mediaplayer's primary task is to play back videos in MPEG1/2/4 but it has a truly magnificent trump, an LCD-display measuring seven inches! Considering it is a portable player that is quite a lot and it should be able to give you an experience above the other players as they usually have quite smaller displays. Despite its large display Wistar PMP-710 doesn't look very big, but then again we might be fooled by the camera.

However there are no specifications for the player or the display available at the moment and that the player will only be equipped with a 20GB 3.5" harddrive sounds quite silly. Alas the batterytime will only be about 3 hours accoridng to the manufacturer, which is quite bad to be honest. We pressume the big display consumes quite a lot of power. What ever the specifications might look like and what this thing will cost is yet to be announced, but we surely hope to see Wistar PMP-710 in stores soon.
