    Help with hardware stores

I have been sent here from tweakers.com.au in search of the following info...

I know a guy who lives in the Netherlands and is wanting to buy a new PC. He has looked at companies like Dell, HP, etc. but I want him to stay clear of them. This guy is pretty good with computers, but would prefer if it was built for him.

I would like to know any trusted stores that you use to purchase hardware so I can tell him where to go for quotes.

Hey poee and welcome to the Forum!

Well, as you can see most of us are from sweden and use mostly our swedish hardwaresites to purchase from. It´s not so often we order something from hardware stores from other countries.
But we have one hardwaresite that is on english to. www.komplett.co.uk .
We'll see if the other guys here from UK and other countries can help you more

    Good Luck!

Would you think it would be hard for him to get it shipped? Please excuse my ignorance!

If he's into hardcore stuff Alienware has some _really_ cool rigs.
    http://www.alienware.co.uk/

They ship to the netherlands, no problem.

As for komplett I think they ship pretty much anywhere in Europe. They use DHL for their shipments so it's fast and reliable.

I have heard some problems with them having items on their site listed as "in stock" when in fact they dont have them in stock yet.
So sometimes there's been very "unfortunate" delays.

But all in all I'd say they're one of the best resellers in Europe.

Alienware do build nice systems, but they come with a price.

What currency is komplett's prices in? Brittish pound I presume?
