    A really odd Compaq!

As you all know, Compaq usually uses their own shit in their PCs.

But today, as I was checking some stuff...
I noticed some strange things on the motherboard.

Well, first of all...I doubt the motherboard has enything to do with compaqs own shit.

Cus I can change the FSB on it, and it says 100/133 MHz on the DIMM slot.

And there's cooling on the chiset and northbridge, which is very rare in these things.
It also has a nice VIA chipset, dunno what serial though.

The heatsink is made of solid copper, and the fan is very silent, oh...btw the fan is automatically controlled depending on the CPU temperature and usage.

And there is 2 additional connectors for 2 3-pin fans.

Does this sound like Compaq? No way!

Oh...btw, I hope my english is not to bad!

That doesn´t sound like a Compaq at all. They allways build their computers like "build-eveything-so-compact-that-you-can´t-get-stuff-out-and-lock-everything-on-the-motherboard".

    Ohh crap!

    It won't boot...
I think it has to do with the AGP frequency.

But there's a big difference between different 5000 and 7000.

I didnt know they had overclocking options!
Many ppl are asking about it, where can you find those options?
Maybe we could do an article about it on NH if you can figure out how to obtain those features
