Asetek has announced a new water block. It's been a while now since the last time, but much like its previous blocks, Asetek is targeting the enthusiast crowd, although in an OEM-kind-of-way. The block is designed for NVIDIA's new GeForce 9800 series, but the main features touted by Asetek is performance, low noise, reliability and low maintenance requirements, along with improve system thermal management.

The cooler fits both the GeForce 9800GTX and the 9800GX2, and will at most reach a noise level of 22dBA. The cooler has also been designed to move the hot air outside of the case, instead of just moving it around inside of the case. Depending on the specific card, Asetek has measured up to 25°C lower core temperature with improved overclocking.

No price has been specified, but we're pretty certain that the block should appear through Asetek partners and OEMs in the not too distant future. Below are some pictures of the block.
