Yeah, since I'm all red-hot, I'm going to suggest another major improvement to this forum.
The "Instant reply"-function, or whatever we'd call it.
Like the one on .se.
It's kind of boring to sit and load the "big" reply-screen with 56K every time...
Hope you fix it too, Delph1. Wink

for a short time there was something like that...
it was the quick reply...and it was just a text box at the bottom of the forum page, without the emoticons and code options...

OR I'm just crazy...

Yes, that was exactly what I meant.
Let's just hope it gets back, or something like that. Smile

Yup, it was there ... and then it disappeared. I have no idea why Wink

So as I'm typing this reply the hard way, I ask myself:
"Why am I still doing this the hard way?"

What happened to the people who were put to work?

*poke*

Seems avatar has some other things that are a bit more high prio than this so you'll have to bear with it until further notice.

I would also like to chime in here and request please allow the "quick reply" box beneath a thread page. Smile

I hardly ever use another page for just replying, and it is quite a bit of pain to me at times actually.

So I love this new box... Only thing it's missing (other than some prettier formatting). That would be a button to "go advanced".

By this I mean, if you've already typed a nice long post, but then you decide you could use a nice "emoticon" for example, or don't know the tags for links/formatting your post, there should be a button that saves your work, but takes you to the normal "reply" option, and puts your post back in for you...

That makes it a lot easier to write annoyingly long post like this, and then add crap like this --> Wink when you think it's appropriate.
