I think I'll do some 3D tonight, since my SCPC dreams are all crumbled to dust now... My DS3 doesn't go past 490FSB, and my P5B-E Plus is like russian roulette, but I've managed to boot at 480FSB. But just once. And now it's going back to the store where I brought it, since I've never used it. Aaah, the refund. Wink

I like that PM. In fact, I liked it so much I even replied. Wink

I wonder what a DFI Infinity 975X would be like, they cost like peanuts... Just under 100£ at overclockers.co.uk. Guess I don't have to worry about buying new speakers. Razz

If I'm not mistaking the Infinity 975X was not one of DFI's better boards. Pretty sure it was scrapped by many overclockers for not meeting their requirements.

Yeah I've got that impression too. I played around a bit with it at DH though, there were plenty of tweaking options in BIOS as always with DFI. Nah, I'll just wait for someone to hand me a RD600. Wink

As I'm currently benching, I'll just tell you this: you're beaten. Scores coming up later/tomorrow.

Ok time for me to post some results to then. I have been doing some benching with my E8500 and an Asus 8800 GTS 512Mb.

To begin with. This card clocks real nice on the core. I have done a 3dmark06 round with 870MHz on the core. Howevber when you alse clock the memory and the shaders, you wont get the same result. But 855MHz isnt that bad either Razz

Anyway. I have been benching the crapiest board i have ever tested. Intels Bonetrail X38, meany know this board and we are seriusly thing of going to Kista and dump the boards in Intels mailbox....

Anyway, after a while i got the board clocking. I had to slow down the mems from there stock speed of 1600MHz to 800MHz and then work from there. I never got them as high as stock though.

Anyway. Heres the 05 result i got. I think is quite good.
