Wow, coolest thing I've seen in years Very Happy

EDIT:

The whole modeling is very cool, and the whole module thinking while building and the evolving is genious!

And when you've evolved enough you get to control larger groups. I have to get this!

This brings online gaming to real nerds, like me, and not just the gamers.

Well actually Delph1 I don't think it's actually going to be online. I've heard that it will only download other peoples creatures and stuff like that from a server and that all the gameplay is Singleplayer only.
Not 100% sure though

That thought have struck me too.

Anyhow, I find spore extremly interresting, thanks to the procedurally generated content. Sure, it might even be a fun game, but I don't care all too much about that. If they manage to get the procedurall generation to work allright, other companies will jump on the bandwagon and that's exactly what i want.

Procedurally generated content is a gift from god and the things it allows, is breathtaking!

Sadly no, but it doesn't exactly make the game less appealing Wink

I saw the demo for this game about a month ago, and I'm also anticiating this game alot

The coolest part is how your creatures and world should end up being visited by other people via the internet during usual play, so your work in the game doesn't go un-appreciated, other people will/may see it Smile

I think it's great news! The fact that they aren't developing it for multi-console usage is great because we might actually get a PC game adapted to the PC for once. I hate when the PC game is a console-game played with a keyboard and mouse.

Agree as far as it doesn't mean we will not see Spore on Wii at all. I think Wii could add an interesting touch here.
