Ow, that's gotta hurt.
That's actually worse than mine. But dual channel on that board? You sure? _________________ Man, or woman, or both?

Well according to ECS it does, but how would I check?
Although Sandra and EVEREST give it 900MB/s bandwidth tops.
I have a while to use this now, until I get back home to where my own system is. Good thing is I can buy the R600 cards from EU (£249 is cheap for here) and get them shipped back where my bro is using my system now.
But I maybe selling the P4 3GHz they gave me and buying a Striker and a C2D here. Already have a SeaSonic S12 430W PSU to handle it and a spare Zalman CNPS9700 lying around here. |

Not too bad, but like Mean Machine says, a bit more GPU frequency and you're going places

Here's my scores for my SLI rig as well as my Crossfire rig. Crossfire hit 14,352 with both HD2900Pros running stock as well as the e6850 and the Maximus Formula ES. I just managed to get temps down on the NB and mobo,so ill try to Oc everything. http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=3388460 For my SLI rig i hit 17,452 with the QX6800 OCed to 3.2GHz. We got it up to 3.51GHz with the pre-released Elite we used for the review before my Striker died.If i would have had a chance to run 3DM06 at 3.51GHz i should have hit 18,000 or higher.Once i get the Boreas from CoolIt, i hope to hit 4GHz. With 12 130w TECs that should be within reach,at least i hope it will.I should have the Boreas by the end of the month if things go right, then i can test it and send the data to Jake and he can write the review. I'll have to try another post with my SLI score.I had it listed here, but when you clicked on it,it went to the crossfire score. I would like to thank Andreas for giving Jake and i a chance at Noridic. Thanks Andreas,! and also my partner Jake for writing the review. I'm in the USA and Jakes in Canada, we make a good team. _________________ Foxconn Bloodrage / 965 Extreme, Boreas / Two GTX295s / 2,300GB VelociRaptors,WD 750Gb / 6Gbs CSX 2000MHz Diablos / Tagan 1300w / Lian Li Z7010

Heres my SLI rigs score, I hope this works this time. http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=3257157 For some reason this link keeps going back to the crossfire score. If you click on the checkmark where it says My Project you should see the 17,452 score.Click on that and the project manager will pop up for the SLI rig score. _________________ Foxconn Bloodrage / 965 Extreme, Boreas / Two GTX295s / 2,300GB VelociRaptors,WD 750Gb / 6Gbs CSX 2000MHz Diablos / Tagan 1300w / Lian Li Z7010

who am i trailing? lol I thought that 17,452 was a decent score for a mild OC. I did not see a higher score under this post, and I know i am far from the top score at the futuremark site. I think the systems that are extremed cooled useing LN or phase cooling should have their own section at futuremark. Who knows Once i get the Boreas, and Intels QX9650 and two 9800GTX's maybe ill catch up ;] With the 12TEC Boreas i might be able to hit 4.5GHz or higher if it cools the way it should.I might have to change the stock two 120mm fans to two 120mm with a 151cfm. It will be kinda loud, but if it gets me to 4.5GHz or 4,8GHz i really wont care. I have that new crossfire setup that i am going to sell, Just the Asus Maximus Formula ES and both HD2900Pros with 1GB of v-memory each for $700 which i think is a fair price. It cost me a little over $1000 and its a little over 3 weeks old. This was my 1st crossfire setup, but i want to go back to having three SLI systems. I have an extra Striker Extreme,so ill buy two Superclocked 8800GTs and see how well they perform. That way i can use them in eVGAs stepup program & get the 9800GTXs. _________________ Foxconn Bloodrage / 965 Extreme, Boreas / Two GTX295s / 2,300GB VelociRaptors,WD 750Gb / 6Gbs CSX 2000MHz Diablos / Tagan 1300w / Lian Li Z7010

You're trailing me and 2900PRO Crossfire.
It's no bad score by any means, I just find it funny that your Ultras are slower than my cheap-ass 2900's. _________________ Man, or woman, or both?

Here are my latest 3D mark 06 results with a singel 8800ULTRA card, i finally managed to break 18000.
I also think i can go a bit higher, so far i´ve managed to run the CPU test in 4560Mhz with only 1.52v so i belive 4600Mhz should be OK.
System used:
Intel QX6850
DFI lanparty UT P35-T2R
Crucial BallistiX 8500
Singel ASUS EN8800ULTRA
CPU is cooled with a SS and my 8800ULTRA with water.
