Right now it's mainly Pro Evolution Soccer 6, Resistance: Fall of Man and Motorstorm.
I'm waiting for a new router to upgrade my PS3 to the latest firmware so I can play some of my older PS/PS2 games too.
Right now I serisouly hate the region coding of the PS/PS2 games. Many games didn't reach Europe, which means I have to emulate them with less than perfect performance

My favorite game is, and probably always will be, Monkey Island 3.
There's something special about it, the scenery, the music and characters
Other favorites include:
OpenTTD
Diablo II + LOD
Warcraft II + Btdp and Warcraft III + TFT
Civ I, II, IV
Superfrog and Lemmings
Damn, I need to find my old War2 + btdp CD's and see if Wine can handle them in Linux. _________________ "I'm rubber, you are glue" |

I've played some Bioshock, but then I stopped for some reason. I can't really remember why, but I guess should pick it up again

Unfortionately i do not have as much time for games as i used to. However there are a few games that i keep coming back too:
Lineage 2 - My number one most played game lately. Its bad when your gf keeps wanting you to play the game with her since its boring to play alone.
Civilization series - played it and loved it since the first installment.
Red Orchestra - I dont play alot of FPS games but when i feel the need this is what i play. After trying red orchestra and getting used to things like real balistics, no crosshairs, iron cross sights, going prone and at least semi realistic damage models i have a hard time playing a normal fps.
I also love a good adventure game but there have been way too few lucas arts style games lately. Runaway was nice but its one of the few good adventure games iv played in the last few years. |

The most favorite games I've played can be categorized as, and they are all my favorite:
1. EverQuest: Longest played hours
2. Civilization Series: Longest lasting game (playing it and its series since 1990)
3. Funniest: Monkey Island 1, 2, and 3
4. Immersion: Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodline
5. RolePlaying: Baldur's Gate and Fallout 2
6. RTS: StarCraft
all these games are great |

Of course that ruined the Genre for the core gamers of that genre making every game producer who ventures into this genre must dumb down their games in order to "survive" and attract more subs. Dumbing down meaning making it too easy (something like a ! mark on NPCs meaning they have quests, or very mild death penalty..etc).
Great game nonetheless. |

1. Civilization series. Especially part II was very good. I remember times as a kid I woke up started the game early in the morning (8:00) only to finish it at like 23:30. Parts 3, 4 were kind of sluggish.
2. Battlefield 2. Online I spent more than 450h. The team play is great
3. Need for speed series. With exception of the underground series and carbon. Those were a shame to the brand. I like the versions where you have to break for corners, instead of grinding the wall. Damage is also a pro for racing games, imho. |

You have a pretty good point there, but doesn't a game need to be kinda dumb sometimes to make it appealing to the masses?
