Damaged graphics memory? That's usually what causes these kind of errors.
Tried another monitor? Tried switching drivers?

Well i have to use another monitor to even be able to show the picture at all cause the laptop screen cant show it.
Basicly this is the second time this happens with my computer
i have no idea why this computer is realtive new and have allredy been
on repair once and now 2 months later same problem again when they changed the graphic card totaly.
Well ive tried with new but none of them worked considring this graphic card can only have the ones i get with my Driver & Utility CD for the comp.
And they cant be installed now for some reason not with thic picture.
Ive tried installing it before even going in to windows same shit happens then so it dosnt work.
Any ideas ? Execpt changing graphic card once again ? |

Well i don't know what it is but i think it is located on the graphic card because after the change of the card all was ok. If you change it again i guess it would be ok for 2 or 3 months and then the same problem will haben again. Maybe the card had get too hot while you use it and something on it has become damaged. But it is the second card and so i don't think that the card itself is the problem, maybe it has become a too high voltage or somethin else in the past or it is not fullcompatible with the laptopsmotherboard or so, but in fact i don't know what could it be... |

If the regular monitor doesn't show picture and the external monitor shows that one it could very well be a driver issue.
What model and specifications are we talking about?

That looks grim.
I have only one suggestion, I used to abuse an x850xtpe in terrible ways, and every once in a while when it locked up, I would have green artifacts in windows after restarting. I found I could easily fix this however by using atitool beta 14 to induce Ati Gpu Recovery, scanning for artifacts and overclocking the core to get the next result. The artifacts would get much worse, the card would freeze again, the screen would go black, then after a moment come back into windows with no artifacts or problems, as if the bios or something has been reset.
Thats the only thing I can suggest, try to artifact the card into gpu recovery. The way those artifacts look, it probably won't work, but I thought I had ruined my x850 at first, just for some reason I often had to do this when an overclock crashed. |
