Some users have been reporting about problems with their nForce 790i motherboards. When going for high FSBs with certain memories, the data becomes corrupt for no apparent reason. Corruption is not uncommon when overclocking, but not in this way. Anandtech first reported about the strange behavior a while back, and since then the incident is under investigation by NVIDIA. If you're the owner of a motherboard based on the nForce 790i chipset, you might want to subscribe to the thread created at NVIDIA's customer help page for the latest updates.
