AMD and its subsidiary ATI is behind the graphics circuits inside both Nintendo Wii and Microsoft Xbox 360 but its the former of the two that, despite the much later launch date, has been selling the most. This of course means that AMD has sold an unbelievable amount of graphics processors to Nintendo, an amount that has now surpassed 50 million. This makes the graphics circuit code-named "Hollywood" the most successful video game console circuit ever from AMD. Quite impressive considering Nintendo Wii still have many years to go.
