World War III is closing in, there's no doubt about that, and to prepare you for the worst we've now compiled this simply DIY guide on how to make your own vaccines. We've earlier reported about how scientists have been working on bacteria for both data storage and batteries, but there are more you can do with bacteria; like vaccines. The approach is pretty simple and can be executed in your own kitchen, with some assistance from the washer or dryer. The best thing about it is that it's universal so it you can use it to defend yourself against whole bunch of viruses, and even some bacteria.

"Electronic equipment will be disrupted by the magnetic radiation caused by the rain of atomic bombs and because of that scientists have been working on creating ways to store data in bacteria and also use them as batteries. Bacteria have a spooky ability to survive almost anything, making than excellent target for survival research."

It was sort-of co-incidental to read something like that -- after a video I watched about an hour ago made me feel as though the color had probably drained from my skin.

Evidently, some time during the cold nuclear standoff of the seventies and eighties, people were seemingly preparing for even a scenario where bombs can no longer be delivered by air.

It seems we were preparing to throw these damned things at each other on the battlefield like stones Sad

How sad.

When I took a look at that thread, it went a little bit over my head with the biological aspect, but that is a great idea about the washer/drier centrifuge. I bet you could take that one step further by changing pulleys for the belts that drive it, it might even get dangerous Smile some balancing would perhaps be in order.

Have you guys been delving into any simple organic chemistry? benzenes and such?

10 weeks of my first year was pure organic chemistry, but it's come back now during the third year when we've been talking about mecinal chemistry; Interactions with proteins and such Wink

During our practical lab experiments we have to handle a lot of them though. They're used as solvent and sometimes to conjugate other molecules to make them more fatty.
