OCZ continues to pump out new memory modules and its latest creation is for the enthusiast. OCZ' new memory kit will be available at up to 4GB capacity, to all Vista users great joy. The memory latencies are specified to 5-5-5 at 800MHz frequency, but what really makes the new modules stand out is that they are not of the regular DIMM format, the modules are namely designed for the mobile sector as they use the SODIMM format. In other words you will be able to enjoy both high capacity and good memory performance with your laptops as well, if we are to trust the words of OCZ.

“System memory is the fastest storage medium for data in any computer system. Higher capacity RAM can be used to largely bypass hard disc accesses for scratch and page files, and this dramatically speeds up the operation of any computer system. The new 800MHz line of 2GB SODIMMs or 4GB kits push laptops to the limit of any 32-bit operating system to unleash their maximum performance.”
