nForce 790i is getting ready for launch and while we've seen a few benchmarks and indications of the FSB overclocking, the memory overclocking is suppose to be something really out of the ordinary. The DDR3-2000 might look good on paper, but without actual proof of how well it works, it's not worth much. Kingston has now provided an insight into how easy it can be if you have some good modules to work with.

Using a pair of Kingston HyperX PC3-16000, operating at 2000MHz stock, they simply upped the voltage a bit and loosened the timings to 9-10-9. System booted directly at 2133MHz. The timings aren't exactly what you would refer to as tight, but at 2133MHz, they are more than fair.
