ForceWare 91.28 Beta 2 with a new user interface
Written by Andreas G 26 May 2006 14:13

ForceWare 91.28 Beta 2 recently appeared at nZone available for download and even if it is not an official driver by NVIDIA there is a lot of interesting news with this driver. It is the first of NVIDIA's ForceWare Release 90 and as the rumors have stated this version will bring a completely new user interface/control panel, which kind of resembles ATI's Catalyst interface as it is separate and use more of a graphical interface. It has also added some new PureVideo technologies such as noise reduction post processing and image sharpening post processing. But the most interesting is of course the new control panel which NVIDIA has introduced and we have taken two screenshots as a small preview, but we've also posted NVIDIA's own list of key features.

The key features of NVIDIA's control panel

  • One control panel for quick access to all of your NVIDIA hardware settings.
  • Simple steps with interactive pictures and descriptions guide you through set-up.
  • Advanced or beginner views for easy customization.
  • Optimal game quality with a real-time 3D quality preview.
  • HDTV quality settings allow you to take advantage of the latest widescreen panels.
  • Patented NVIDIA Unified Driver Architecture (UDA) supports all of your NVIDIA products.
  • Available for download on both Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Vista-based systems.
