Microsoft denies Blu-ray Xbox 360 stories
Written by Andreas G 03 April 2008 22:52

Microsoft has made an attempt to squander the stories going around saying that there's a new version of Xbox 360 coming later this year, one sporting an internal blu-ray player. The player is suppose to be made by Lite-On, which also makes DVD players for the video game console, and will evidently put Microsoft in a position where it will once again be selling consoles at a loss. Microsoft has been right out denying other stories which has later turned out to be true, which means we're anything but convinced by this statement;

“No. Lite-On is not manufacturing Blu-ray drives for Xbox 360. As we have stated, games are what are driving consumers to purchase game consoles, and we remain focused on providing the largest library of blockbuster games available."
