As usual Apple has remained quiet when it comes to coming products, but that it is working on a new version of the popular iPhone should hardly come as a surprise for any of you. Exactly when the phone is due is unknown, but it could be presented as soon as next month's WWDC convent. There have been some reports of the new third generation iPhone but nothing spectacular more than better and more efficient networking.

At a Chinese forum a screenshot of of a new iPhone appeared early this month and phone we have chosen to call iPhone HD has a new model number; MB717LL. The same user also posted detailed specifications for Apple's third iPhone and even if we consider this unconfirmed information with a pinch of salt it does look promising.

What speaks for the rumors is that they seem perfectly reasonable. A more powerful processor and double the RAM and storage paired to a better camera module and some new features.
