
Monitor maker iiyama has achieved two of the most hip features with its new ProLite monitor. It has announced a 21.5" LCD monitor that foremost sports 1920x1080 pixel resolution. With full High Definition 1080p video support it has still managed to reduce power consumption substantially to 24W when used. You can combine this with 20,000:1 dynamic ratio and 250 cd/m2 brightness.
Iiyama E2210HDS(-B ) sports 2ms access time (GTG) and ships with 2W integrated speakers. Audio and video can be transferred through the HDMI input, but there is also DVI and D-Sub (VGA) output for other sources. The price tag is set to $280.
