Yeston is mainly known in Asia, but the graphics card manufacturer has now developed, we dare call it, an extremer version of NVIDIA's GeForce GT220 graphics card. It still targets budget users as GeForce GT220 is anything but a speed freak but Yeston has done its best to tweak performance bring out the most from the card.
They have increased the number of layers of the PCB from 4 to 6 with its custom design. At the same time it sports a more powerful 3+1 phase power supply that will enable higher GPU clock frequencies. The card ships with GDDR3 memory clocked at 2000MHz, which is a lot more than the 1600MHz that the reference design settles for.
The performance altering modifications will hardly make the card spin out of control, but should be enough to make it stand out. It also has two HDMI outputs together with a sole DVI output for good connectivity.
The only drawback is that the card requires external power through a 6-pin molex connector. All you have to do now is actually locate the card.
