Acer T230H is one of many LCD monitors using so called touch technology, which enables users to interactively navigate within programs and operating systems, without aids like mouse or keyboard. The technology hasn't been all that common with PCs though, but after Microsoft launched Windows 7 that has been optimized for technology we should see a new wave of LCD monitors with touch interfaces.
Acer has announced a new 23" LCD monitors sporting 1920x1080 pixel resolution and 80,000:1 dynamic contrast. Response time is set to 2ms and the monitor has 300 cd/m² brightness. The monitor also sports two integrated 1.5W speakers and connects to your PC through either HDMI or DVI.
