The enthusiasts have been in the care of DFI for many years, but the latest product shows that it also cares for those without big wallets and can't afford the fancy chipsets and expensive platforms. The company has released a motherboard based on Intel's P43 chipset for the LGA775 platform and DFI Blood Iron P43-T34 still comes fairly cheap.
The motherboard offers support for all of the latest Core 2 Duo/Quad processors but also good overclocking functions like ABS II and CPU Auto upgrade. To improve overclocking it has equipped the board with digital power circuitry with 90% efficiency.
Other pleasant functions include Gigabit LAN, 8 channel HD audio, 4 DDR3 DIMM slots and one PCI Express x16 slot for the graphics card.
We have no information on the price or availability, but we have been told it will be very affordable.
