FutureMark hard at work with new DirectX 11 benchmark
Written by Andreas G 04 November 2009 20:39

FutureMark are usually fast to adopt new graphics technology and therefore it comes as no surprise that that it has now confirmed it is working on a new test suite using Microsoft's new DirectX 11 API. The information comes directly from Futuremark's President, Oliver Baltuch, who other than that refused to comment on unreleased products.

In an e-mail to Expreview Balutch replied in a PR manner that didn't really reveal anything, but at least indirectly points to FutureMark working on a DirectX 11 3DMark, though anything else would have been a huge disappointment.

“hard at work creating beautiful looking art and fantastic code which will be at the leading edge of technology.”
