Intel's P55 motherboard are real commodities these days but few of these will stand out as much as DFI's coming mini-ITX model. DFI has done things like this in the past, which is a bit different from its regular profile, though it's still an enthusiast product. The motherboard maker will soon present the first mini-ITX motherboard for overclocking and the chipset will be Intel's fresh P55. We don't have all the details yet, but it will be extremely small, 170x170mm, and specifically targeting overclockers.
Of course, it can be discussed how appealing the mini-ITX format is to overclockers, but those looking for an affordable system where you can get some extra performance from a minimalistic format may find it quite alluring.
We hope to return soon with more information, our sources tell us that the board will be presented officially next week and as far as we know it will be the first Intel P55 mini-ITX motherboard. Intel has had similar plans though.
