eMagin Z800 3DVisor - Throw out your 105" LCD-TV
Written by Delph1 10 November 2005 17:13

eMagin Z800 3DVisor probably used the smallest display of the annual Display Conference event in San Fransisco but despite that it managed to capture quite a lot of attention. eMagin Z800 3DVisor is simply display set you wear like glasses. The unit uses two 0.59" displays, one for each eye, and using eMagin Z800 3DVisor is suppose to be like watching a 105" picture at 12 feet (3.6m). With a resolution at 800x600 pixlar per display and the possibility to show over 16.7 million colors this is suppose to be the optimal choice for those who want to improve the game and/or movie experience.

eMagin Z800 3DVisor seems to be a lot more advanced than the 3D-glasses you get with the Cornflakes-packages when you was a kid and at 899 USD we sure hope so. The concept is very interesting though and the question is if we will see more of these soon.
