USB-memory - a spy gadget
Written by Delph1 11 November 2005 16:32

USB-memory has created a lot of headlines regarding its lifespan and, perhaps the hottest subject is, the security risk a USB-memory can be. Very small and with large capacity is a rarely efficient tool for moving information between computers. Unfortunately also classified information and the USB-memory can be seen in many Hollywood movies as a gadget for spies and agents to get information from the enemy. Anyway, it would be really bad if the information stored on the USB-memory would fall into the wrong hands.

This is something SanDisk has understood and has decided to develop and launch a safe USB-memory that uses, among others, finger print reading for activiation. In other terms you will also need the hands of the person you steal the memory from, not just the memory.
