Optimus OLED keyboard on February 1
Written by Delph1 09 January 2006 17:51

Optimus went on a day from being a relatively unknown design concept to one of the hottest, not available, computer products on the market. Optimus is the name of the OLED keyboard that Art Lebedev Studios has designed and to begin with was just a concept. The keyboard would use a small OLED display for each key and that way make it possible to design your own keys any way you like. Something that made many computer enthusiasts start drooling. Now  a couple of months later with complete silence Art Lebedev Studios homepage has been updated with more information about the keyboard, and what is most surprising is the launch date set at February 1, 2006.

Prices and exact specifications have to wait and considering the numerous amount of OLED displays it will cost quite a lot. But we are convinced that there are more than a few speculants when it arrives, which actually seems to happen now.
