Gainward beefs up 7800GT to 512MB
Written by Mean Machine 25 January 2006 19:35

Gainward seems to become the first graphics card manufacturer to launch other cards in the GeForce 7-series with more memory. Today, we only see NVIDIA's flagship GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB "on the market" with 512MB RAM. Now though, Gainward are about to launch their new "Bliss"-series on the market, which involves both GeForce 7800GT and GeForce 6800GS equipped with 512MB RAM. The GeForce 7800GT-card is also slightly higher clocked than its competition with 450MHz GPU and 1300MHz on the RAM. With both higher frequencies and more memory, the Gainward Bliss 7800GT looks as a real winner and even though the pricetag is 370 Euro, it just might be worth it.
