Nintendo DS gets a digital TV tuner
Written by Delph1 16 February 2006 21:33

Nintendo DS has since the launch been considered as the real gaming console when compared to Sony PSP. PSP has despite its high capacity as a game console been talked about because of its wide range of other features, which are good and very innovative at times though. Now it seems that Nintendo also wants to broaden its portable console's features. Just the other day we reported about Opera that has developed a browser and now the next boom arrives. Nintendo has namely implied that it has plans for launching a TV tuner for Nintendo DS. The digital TV tuner will just as the Opera browser be available in Japan at first and is expected to arrive at the end of the year. There is so far no details about the TV tuner more than that it will use a new TV service called 1seg in Japan.
