Sony PSP - Epsilon BIOS v1.0 for Undiluted Platinum released
Written by Andreas G 23 July 2006 15:41

Sony PSP has for long been used to run so called homebrew via various bugs and exploits found in the different firmwares. Any real modchips haven't been available until Undiluted Platinum appeared and now Team Epsilon has released Epsilion BIOS v1.0 for this modchip. With this BIOS you will be able to use firmware version 2.71 and all of its goodies, run homebrew like normal and games via ISO-files from the memory card, but also restore PSPs after a bad flash (so called bricks) and much more. We want make it clear that this is a not a standalone-BIOS but a BIOS, or bootloader as Maxconsole also calls it, which can be used with Undiluted Platinum and its support for dual BIOSes. Without a doubt pleasant news for all of those who wants to be able to use their PSPs for a little more than have been possible before.
