Alienware DHS A: stylish Media Center with integrated amplifier
Written by Andreas G 26 October 2006 17:46

Alienware DHS A is a Media Center PC which really lives up to the name. Even if many manufacturers develop Media Center PCs which blend into the stereo rack and thus often have a very appealing design, Alienware has taken it all one step further. Its DHS A series is namely not just a Media Center PC but also an integrated amplifier at 1000W and can be used to power your home cinema speakers. If we consider the regular Media Center features there isn't much to complain about either. The system follows the AMD LIVE! specifications and house an Athlon 64 X2 processor which is completed with an HDMI output.

The base model will cost you 1,000 USD and you get a 160GB harddrive, but those with money can upgrade to a total of 1.5TB.
