ASUS will, as expected, launch an updated version of its laptop Lamborghini VX1 and according to Reg Hardware the first samples should appear in stores in Japan today. ASUS has named the new model of VX1 'Lamborghini VX1 Golden Edition', we don't know exactly why. But from what we know the main attraction is the updated processor which nowadays comes from the Core 2 Duo family. Other than that there ain't much separating the two, alas or positive is up to you. We would have preferred a widescreen display instead of the regular standard 4:3 format 15" ASUS uses. At the same time has ASUS has been able to achieve a neat Lamborghini look with the VX1 series.
To begin with, ASUS will release only 200 units of its Golden Edition laptop and these will have their serial numbers engraved on the back.
