PirateBay can't buy Sealand
Written by Andreas G 21 January 2007 15:37

We earlier reported about how PirateBay had launched the site BuySealand.com to gather money for buying the "island" Sealand. Prince Michael has now made a statement to CBC where he says that PirateBay will not get to buy Sealand. The price of Sealand is no less than 750,000,000 euro, a sum which can be hard for PirateBay to reach, but now it seems there is not even a possibility of purchase. PirateBay has said, as we knew from the first report, that there is a plan b, which is simply to buy another island. We're still skeptical, but to be honest we can only wait and see what happens.
