Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-4000 - quad-tuner
Written by Andreas G 14 March 2007 20:26

Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-4000 is one of the latest TV tuners for PCs and Hauppauge has designed a card with support for as much as possible. The TV tuner that is installed in a PCI slot namely has a quad-tuner supporting not only one, but four TV formats. WinTV-HVR-4000 can receive analog TV signals, DVB-T freeview digital Terrestrial TV, DVB-S digital Satellite TV and DVB-S2 hi-definition digital Satellite TV. This means that there is broad support, including for HDTV through the DVB-S2 format. Those who are feeling a bit uncertain about what signals they will use in the future should really consider this one.

Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-4000 is shipped with a remote control and CyberLink PowerCinema 4.7 for watching TV. The TV tuner is available in stores today and costs about €150.
