OpenOffice 2.2 released
Written by Andreas G 29 March 2007 17:52

OpenOffice has now announced that version 2.2 has been released and is available for download. The new version introduces a series of cosmetic updates, where the display of text has been improved and the support for Vista's graphical effects are two of the key elements. Several of the applications have been extended with better support for Microsoft's and other companies' file formats as well. We reported a while back about how OpenOffice had gained support for extensions and with the new version it will be a lot simpler to install these. The new version can be downloaded from OpenOffice.org and weighs in at 93MB (Windows).
