GeForce 8800 Ultra is the card that is supposed to meet and stand up to the oncoming Radeon HD 2900XT from AMD/ATI. The rumors have been many, but rather concentrated on higher frequencies and optimized drivers. This isn't a new product strategy to NVIDIA, and we have to consider this more than likely. According to The Inquirer the card will be equipped with a new cooler and the supply very limited, according to them it will be hard even for reviewers to get a hold of samples. Whether this is true or not is impossible to say today, but it would be really sad if it would be true. Even though the faster cards are much about PR there are still persons that want to buy them.
