A few days ago we reported about how Pirate Bay was a candidate for the list of sites involved in spreading child pornography. This would in turn lead to that the site would be blocked by all Swedish ISPs. Well now it seems that the reports and statements made by the Swedish police was a bit hasty. Pirate Bay is not a candidate for the list, and never really was. However, the police says that this was because the content in question had been removed, but the police never contacted Pirate Bay and never gave Pirate Bay a chance of removing the content that supposedly made it a candidate. Instead they had to search the site themselves and remove any suspicious content, no idea of what they were looking for. Pirate Bay is considering legal actions, but we have a hunch it's not going to lead anywhere.
