OCZ launches DDR3-14400 kit, 1800MHz CL 8-8-8
Written by Andreas G 19 July 2007 17:42

OCZ has once again shown the world who is the number one enthusiast memory manufacturer by presenting a new high-end DDR3 kit. The fastest we've seen so far has been up to 1600MHz and timings at about CAS10, which is still damn fast, but we were expecting more. And OCZ has delivered. OCZ DDR3 PC3-14400 namely runs at 1800MHz and has such low timings as 8-8-8. The modules are available as singles or in kits of 2 1GB modules and are covered by OCZ' lifetime warranty. We're not sure of what the price will be, but we can only assume it is in the same range as the rest. We've said it before, but it can't hurt to say it again; DDR3 is improving way faster than we had anticipated and we're certainly glad things are going so well.
