Logitech launches new G15 keyboard and G9 gaming mouse
Written by Andreas G 02 August 2007 21:38

Logitech has announced a new version of the G15 gaming keyboard and a new personal gaming mouse; G9. The big news is of course the new mouse which has a rather unique design and brings some rather interesting features. Changeable grips, on-the-fly dpi switching (ranging from 200 to 3200 dpi), MicroGear Precision Scroll Wheel, weight-tuning and an onboard memory for storing game-specific profiles. The grip is perhaps the most astonishing about the mouse as its changeable and has s shape that has raised more than a few eyebrows. The new SetPoint 5.0 software can create game profiles and then store these in the memory of the mouse, which makes it possible for you to use your mouse with any computer and still have your settings.

The G15 V.2 has only six programmable macro keys but they can be set to three different modes, which means all in all 18 programmable buttons for fast access to spells, actions, combos, etc. in games. It comes with software that detects game launches and allows for specific profiles to be launched when a certain game launches. Overall the new version is slightly smaller than v1.

Both of these will be available in September and cost $99.99.
