Auzentech has now announced that the shipping date has once again been changed for the Auzen X-FI Prelude 7.1. This is the first card from a third-party manufacturer using a Creative chip. Auzen X-FI Prelude 7.1 will be different from Creative's X-Fi cards though, as it it, e.g., will have Dolby Digital encoding and (as far as we know) higher quality components. According to the latest info from the manufacturer the card will start shipping in early August, which is where we're at right now. This should mean that the card should be available in stores very soon.
