Auzentech hopes to make own drivers for Auzen X-FI Prelude 7.1
Written by Andreas G 16 August 2007 19:30

We reported a while back that Auzen X-FI Prelude 7.1 will have to rely on the X-Fi drivers supplied by Creative. The reason is simply because Creative hasn't given Auzentech access to the source code. This is rather unfortunate in our saying since we know that there were people hoping that Auzentech would remedy Creative's lackluster X-Fi drivers. We did receive an official reply from Auzentech that confirmed this, but it has now added that it is hoping to get access to the source code and develop its own drivers for the Auzen X-FI Prelude 7.1. However there were no word on when, or even if, it will get access to the source code. We certainly hope so though.
