Alienware has announced that it has expanded its offerings of Solid State Drives with its Area-51 m9750 notebook. From now on you will be able to pick two 64 GB SSDs and use them in a RAID 0 configuration. Alienware has been offering a selection of Solid State Drives for some time now, but first now you can have two 64 GB drives in RAID 0. As you may have guessed the m9750 is a high-end laptop and the price for this kind of setup is far from cheap. The Alienware Area-51 m9750 starts at $2,099 and the dual 64 GB SSD RAID 0 configuration adds another $1,820 to the price. But considering this a step in the development of SSD and the fact it is getting more and more common, we're glad to see that SSD is advancing.
