Noctua, known for its silent coolers, has announced a new mounting kit for its NH-U12F and NH-U9F coolers. This mounting kit comes after requests from the community and will hopefully lead to some quieter servers. The new mounting kit is compatible with LGA 771 and mPGA 604 sockets, and supports both the Xeon 5000 and 7000 series. If you happen to have a Xeon 3000 series you can use the socket 775 mounting kit. The kit is sold per request and is available immediately.
