It seems that Dutch computer hardware store Salland was a bit hasty in publishing the prices of the upcoming Radeon HD 3850 and 3870 from AMD/ATI. The prices were €199 and €249 respectively. Unfortunately the links have been removed by now (screens here), but we're certain that these prices are actually higher than what the final prices will be. AMD aims to set a new all-time low for a new mid-range graphics card and while we're still disappointed that 3870 sports lower frequencies than we were hoping for, but we're still confident that three or four of these will still be competitive with the best.
