Zalman Reserator XT tested
Written by Andreas G 21 November 2007 19:02

Zalman Reserator XT is the latest addition to the Zalman water cooling family and this third model of the series has been given a new design. Reserator XT is not an entirely passive system like the first one was, but with a quiet 140 mm fan it is still close to completely silent. Over at Xbit Labs they've taken a closer look at Reserator XT and it seems that Zalman has done well with its new water cooling kit if we focus on the performance. The system scores overall well and the only problem is the price at close to $400.

"The Reserator XT was better by 10°C than the Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme (with two fans) in my tests. It also won the test of the maximum CPU frequency while being within comfortable limits in terms of noise. Zalman’s progress in designing water-blocks is especially praiseworthy."

The entire review can be found at Xbit Labs.
