ThermalTake Power Express 650W & 450W VGA Power Supply
Written by Andreas G 10 December 2007 14:58

ThermalTake was one of the first to announce a so called VGA power supply, simply a power supply dedicated to supplying your graphics cards with juice. With the ever growing power consumption of modern graphics cards, we weren't surprised when the first VGA power supplies were unveiled, but these two new models from ThermalTake certainly take things one step further. ThermalTake W0157 Power Express 450W and W0187 Power Express 650W can supply your graphics cards with up to 650 watts, and that should be enough even if you're using four graphics cards.

The specifications of the two power supplies are somewhat similar with a maximum load of 30A on each of the two 12V rails. Both of them have been designed to fit into one or two empty 5.25" slots.
